New Jaguar XE

This evening at a glittering ceremony in London, with the help of a helicopter, Jaguar officially revealed its BMW 3-Series fighter. People of the Internet, please be upstanding for the brand new ‘XE’, the most important car Jaguar has launched in a very long time.

It’s the company’s new much-vaunted small sports saloon, and will wade into the deep waters against the Beemer, Audi A4 and Mercedes C Class. Serious competition indeed, and much more than just a scaled-down XF.

EDIT: I know Bond drove an Aston... and BMW's... Doesn't matter. I will do my Bond, while getting out of this baby.

For some reason the later models of Jaguar remind me of an Aston Martin

Unofficial Pricing:

Starting at R485k - all the way up to the R800K mark.

At R485K it's a lot more than the "entry level" Audi's and BMW's... would have to drive it first and see how much of the amazing technology will find it's way into the base spec one. (Never mind the great finance deals/buy backs found on other brands which Jaguar wont have)

I honestly can't deny that it looks good, but nothing exciting really. Nowhere near the "wow" factor that the new Discovery Sport left me with.
