If they throttling my streaming I'll be incredibly peeved. The whole idea of moving to LTE was for streaming purposes.

If it does I will not hesitate to lay a complaint at ICASA. I agreed to the FUP.

Agreed invested in streaming services because of this package. Average 300 - 400 gb. If netflix and youtube alone does this imagine showmax added which I was considering for the oldies tv series.

They can block P2P completely for what i care, but if they are going to throttle us for streaming, something they advertise as never throttled/shaped, The ASA and CPA will have a field day with them.

Also got the same SMS in my router. I did read through and the FUP is exactly the same unless I missed something.....

Strange goings.. Even if previous month usage is counted. Rarely pass 150gb so curious as to what the problem is.

AUPs haven't been updated either.. Nice fail there from Telkom

They only said the will start implementing the AUP, not they have updated it.

Telkom will start to implement the AUP from September 2016.

No seedbox. P2p at 35gb this month strangely. I barely use p2p for last 2-3 months.
Got this for streaming.

I have GrabitJeeves. But as stated, didn't get the sms in op, got different sms.
I also haven't noticed any throttling or shaping apart from p2p, so it's all working as it should be.

I dont have anything to do with VPN and i got the SMS. They seem to be sending it to people i guess that have either just used alot or unless they doing this in batches

I am using approximately 9.5GB per day... that is normal internet usage, 2 iPhones, 2 iPads (Apple devices are data hungry), laptops, etc... so a normal household... and we stream everything online and we do not use P2P, KODI, etc..... so, basically all 100% legal video streaming packages. So, my point is this, the ONLY restriction on my contract was the 50GB P2P, etc... which is why I got this, as I thought, well this is perfect for us, as they are pushing it as a product for 100% legal streaming purposes..... Sooooooo, if they throttle a 100% legal user, then as the others have said on here, there will be all hell to pay... they can't advertise something as perfect for legal streamers and then penalize the legal streamers... that would be a complete joke and possibly even illegal. Time will tell... but I rave about this product to friends and on FB, including Telkom's own FB page, so if they did this, they would simply take a very happy customer and convert him to a very angry customer. Time will tell... let's hope that they don't mess with the 100% legal user accounts.
