Hey, here's an idea. Ask your mate/family who's bringing in the mini to bring me a 1Gb stick :p

Funny thing - they brought the 2gb of ram but forgot the mini :eek: They felt so bad they're dhl'ing it over.

Awh look - the little one is playing with the ram - thats ok - I have so much of it :p

Its was $139 a stick.
 
The 512MB stick is around R961 and the 1GB stick I think is around R1776.

Give Digicape a call mate they are much cheaper then the Apple store in the Waterfront. I could not believe the price diffrence.

Most SA Apple dealers get their stock directly from www.zastore.co.za, the same people who operate the Waterfront store. If Digicape are cheaper they must be sourcing their stock from somewhere else or simply not making any profit.

What sort of plug does it come with??

Thats because the 17" Core 2 Duo is not really available in SA yet, so DigiCape must be getting it somewhere else. Or maybe they are just on pre-order at DigiCape?

It says pre-order on their website so I'm guessing it's a possibility :p
