Internet Explorer on Windows 7.

Titles (News/Press office/Breaking news etc.) displaying correctly on opening page but displaying stacked vertically on Forums page.

Flushed cache, removed ad blocker etc.: no change.

Running fine under Vivaldi.

Back in the office this morning and using the forced on us IE11 with the same issue. Mouse wheel getting lots of scroll time

Pet peeve...rage inducingly so. My progression was 2" Nokia 6120C, 3.2" 5230, 4" Huawei Ascend P1, then 5.7" Note 4. Kept thinking more display area therefore more text. Nope. Prima donna UX designers keep increasing the font size and margins and padding. On some websites despite requesting the desktop view I still am forced to their whims. I keep scrolling on and on. Now the one size fits all expands to dropping the desktop design completely and now the 24" holds less content than the 14" CRT from 15 years back.

A designer that puts form over function, all about aesthetics and imposes their design wrecking havoc on the functionality or industrial design.

I think the top menu need to show that they are a menu and not just words in a line with a white background. Also, the image of my bb would look better in the center imo. Other than that is looks great and is easier on the eyes.

I think the top menu need to show that they are a menu and not just words in a line with a white background. Also, the image of my bb would look better in the center imo. Other than that is looks great and is easier on the eyes.

That would give less prominence to the advertiser, I think -- the right-side ad would need to be split into two portions, and the effect of that ad would then be tarnished.

It's not. As has been said don't design for aesthetics but for function. You can't use list items (which is stacked vertically by default) and then expect to fix it displaying correctly using styles.

Honest injun, when I posted that (on this same computer) I had just uploaded and previewed an image but didn't post - now the option has vanished again ...

And I had such a nice image for Kevin.... sigh. can't upload it.

Mystery solved, it works in some forums but not this one. Guess they only want images from "reliable" sources in the news sections

Aargh, just used the mobile app whilst gainfully employed and it was awful - instant constipation!

Went to settings and found Photo preview & Avatar enabled, unticked and the laxative effect amazing

Were those settings there before because I haven't played with them?

Of course you can just upload your image somewhere yourself...
