Watched the Video , Looks Good, They better have a Good StoryLine and Great Modifaction System to make due for Hot Pursuit. In a racing Game Story and car upgrades are everything to me.

I heard this one is made by EA Black Box. Since the last few games were made by Slightly Mad Studios and Criterion, this should mean the Run has had a long development time

Well Black Box did f*** up the series after Most Wanted. Guess we'll have to wait and see how it plays.

After Most Wanted? More like the instant they took over with Hot Pursuit 2...
I wont lie though, I had fun with some of their games.
The extended development time is the only reason I'm not writing it off straight away. What would really get me excited is if Slightly Mad Studios helped out, because at least then we could have a realistic driving model instead of the arcade crap that feels nothing like a car.

I still think Most Wanted was the best Need for Speed they made. It got damn frustrating at times, particularly once you'd amassed the required rep, only to run over some spikes in evading the cops and get nabbed. Still, the sound of a done up Porsche Carrera GT, McLaren SLR or Ford GT40 was thoroughly enjoyable.
Fixed.
I used to go back to play the game just to see if I can get the wanted level to 5 and then how long I can evade the cops.

I am actually enjoying hot pursuit atm, got it for about R170 off steam(steam specials FTW!), kinda sucky to play with a keyboard though. The only other NFS games i actually enjoyed was most wanted and the first underground. I remember being in school when the first underground came out and people went bonkers over it.

About Nfs: the run, I am planning to buy a gaming laptop just for this game ... my pc at home is 6 years old and havn't played a nfs title since undercover, so gotta catch up

OMG, fuking awesome. Now all they got to do is make it a street racing game with tuning. Throw in Free Roam, Most Wanted style cop chases and I'm sold (Oh and addd the NFS Carbon cliff driving).
