Alongside the cutoff dates of ADSL and migration to fibre, I came across this article - link -

it's has too many areas to post in this thread. I note some areas they are complete with and others not. My area however isn't there at all lol.
Since we can't see Openserve's 'coming soon' or 'building on their map, is this cutoff date by December or from December? I wish Openserve to come trench here too next year then so that I have more than one FNO.

Openserve currently replacing the aerial copper with aerial fibre in our neighbourhood, but we are not on the list on their website, nor coverage map.

Is it perhaps possible that Openserve is replacing their copper with fibre here, but does not intend to offer FTTH?

I doubt it. They would most likely offer ftth. Your area would just pop up with openserve available maybe. I don't leave the house much but ever since Octotel has been trenching, Openserve has made a weird presence here (see the vans all around). I think OS rolls out faster. So fingers crossed for us both then

Metrofibre is currently trenching in PTA North areas, but I see Openserve also includes them on the lists. Would be nice to have more than one FNO here, but I have not seen any Openserve activity in our area.

Hmm, could you keep us in the loop and report if anything happens until December?

Well yes, literally same thing that happened here...

An FNO called Linteg started trenching our neighbourhood + town... next moment Openserve started rewiring all their aerial. Lol

Question, how did you find out that they're replacing the copper with fibre? Word of mouth? Got me thinking that I need to find out what's going on with the influx of OS vans this side.

They've been active in our neighbourhood for the last few weeks and had to come into our yard to span the cable from one pole to another. One evening they left a massive roll black cables just outside my yard, on the verge.. I went to take a peek and it had "Openserve Optical" written on it... So I assume it's Fibre Optic. :)
