No idea how it could even do this, it's just a name change with 3 new packages introduced, everyone can see there is nothing new.

Except iBurst :(

why dont they just reduce the current packages prices by R100 each???
wow 500mb *bonus* wow i feel so special with iburst, just giving away bandwidth like that wow :)
 
You know what grinds me. iBurst always boasts that they are customer-service centric. Why is it that the MTN & Vodacom threads have a representitive, and iBurst doesn't?

Have they ever been bothered to run a poll/thread in questioning our opinions?
 
iBurst used to have a rep, a good one too until he left them :( They are yet to appoint a new one.

They also did have a poll a long time ago. Not very useful though...
 
They needed to get a rep online here as soon as Ed left, from that time till now tensions have grown so high that any rep appearing now will probably have a tuff time from a few users...(looks in mirror):eek: :rolleyes:
 
I just think it's a total joke that in a world where fixed line access usually kicks ass... South Africa had to go and be different and have a cellular provider than can outperform the fixed line operators and make a KILLING on affordability and speed...
 
So does this mean my 1G account will now be hardcapped? Checking ADSL availability tomorrow just in case.
 
You can't go by what you read from iBurst since they tend to have a lot of typing errors, best is to phone them and ask where you stand with them in regards to soft or hard cap.

It is very short sighted of them if they start hard capping customers since that is one of the few things that attract customers to iBurst in the first place.
 
They just extended the i-Go (Now Play or whatever) accounts up to 1Gig. The "Pro" accounts are still softcapped.
 
Ja, I'm going to wait and see what happens next month- I would hope iburst realise that the soft-cap is a selling point for many of us. Their website doesn't even have the new packages up yet so I suspect I should just wait and see...
 
Maybe they've called it "pro" because... you pay your money and then get screwed.

I would post but why should I. All I ever get told on this forum is how incompetent I am/how stupid I am etc.. etc.. so why bother
 
No one ever called you "stupid" or "incompetent", you seem to get very "touchy" about anything anyone else says, and if you look back at any of the posts where there was some dispute between you and another member you'll see for yourself that you actually started the ball rolling.

Anyway thats behind us now and it's time to move forward directing our attention towards a common cause.
