New PC advice please

Buy a new case for your new parts. :p

Lol, I would but I think the wife would poison my drink :D

I thought the screws came with the motherboard and not the case? or is it the other way around? or both?

BTW I didn't get any screws with the mobo

Looks great! Quality should be fine.

I am a fan of the Cooler Master Elite cases though, and some of them are cheaper. So I'd recommend them.

I got the zalman case. The shop (brick & mortar shop) didn't have anything else gaming wise besides some ultra expensive R1200+ case.

I'm actually quite surprised how easy it was to connect the front panel stuff. I guess that's what I get for being used to no name brand cases :p

One more thing and everything will be complete lol. What's the best way to position/orientate the fans? At the moment there's a fan in front of the hard drive bay sucking air in, then a fan at the back just under the psu blowing air out. I bought an extra fan for the side but am not sure wether to make it blow out or suck in?

They are all the same size. I think it's 100mm or just under 120mm.

Thanks again Postman

Glad you are happy. Yeah amazing difference a few extra bob gets you in terms of case quality and ease of use.

With a top mounted PSU it's debateable, I'm in 2 minds as the PSU itself sucks out. I would keep the rear fan sucking out, and make the side fan pull in. Front and side in, rear (and PSU by default) out.

Pleasure.

I forgot about the psu fan :p

Ok I made it like you described.

Thanks a ton for all the help man.
