Those amp requirements are so that the gfx manufacturers cover themselves from cheap/junk PSUs that lie about wattage they deliver. GTX570 uses no where near 38A.

CX500 is enough with OC. I don't believe there are grounds to start bringing up "safer to go with x..." etc.

The reviews I checked measured it at around 33-35.
But call it space to upgrade then, if you like.

Is it? I've read many comments that it isn't woth its value and that the Antec Neo Eco 620C is a better PSU

I just blew those comments out the water. It's as powerful as something advertised as being 80watts more, while being R75 cheaper. I don't know what else to input. Neo 620C is irrelevant?

No idea. I am commenting on CX600 vs HCG520 and YOUR budget and needs. I don't think we even have the Neo range in SA. Why would you need it, assuming it's better?

Just for the headroom if I want to put two GPU's in SLI or CF in the future
 
Phone esquire and see what specials they have on antec power supplies.

They got awesome pricing on antec.

Hmmm, okay then in the future when I want to SLI I will also upgrade to an Antec True Power Quattro 1200W
