New telkom contract

Hi,

I applied for a new contract online, i had to put my banking details, and my salary , etc, and they didn't even bother replying or even send me an email with reference number.

I also sent a question on facebook with no feedback provided.

Is this the kind of service I can expect from telkom?
is there another way to get some feedback or do i need to go to the store?
 
With Telkom, its always best to go into a shop. My experience there so far has always been top notch.

Yes, sadly Telkom's customer care is gone. It is none existing. When I phoned them I ran out of airtime long before they got to my call. You can message them. Zero response. So what I do is I take a drive to closest mall 2 hours away and deal with them in person. That way they can't hang up, or never give answers. That said take a leave day when you visit them they are worse then the car licensing offices. Actually take two days so you can deal with the trauma the next day that you will experience when you notice they didn't do anything at all.

When it comes to Telkom they give a good deal but a terrible terrible service and resolving problems is impossible unless if you take the time and go to see them in person.

Yeah, I'm finding this out lately. After years of reasonable service, lately their LTE has been dropping me every single night for the past 3 weeks. Time to drop Telkom I think.

You in the Pretoria area? I believe the issue is being worked on
 
Same here. At first I thought the issue was on my side. Call center is pretty useless. They don't see any thing wrong on their side. I'm doing some research into my router settings (Huawei B535). First time I've played with this so I'm still trying to figure out things.
