It is rumored that Intel cancelled some current-gen higher-end products; this is likely the case. I don't think that Celestial is cancelled. MLID thinks that he is a silicon prophet, but Chinese discussion boards have long dabbled in whats and whatnots. Some people are very much involved in the supply chain, and word gets around there quickly, but companies have also started to double down on what can be disclosed (or having your head served warm).
The RTX 50 SUPER series isn't cancelled. Nvidia's own reported numbers have dispelled many rumours; they are still selling, and selling well, to general consumers. For them to put AI into home computers would mean that vRAM increases would be necessitated. It is unknown where Nvidia is with Rubin in concern to consumer GPUs, but a possible announcement could be in early 2026. An RTX 50 SUPER series will be a stopgap, but I don't expect RTX 60 until sometime Q4 2026 at the earliest.
I am convinced that Nvidia's deal with Intel was set up by the US government. I wouldn't call it desperate, but rather strategic. It will allow both Intel and Nvidia to leverage their technologies within the USA (and Mexico). Fab utilization... Nvidia is well allotted at this time being.
Anyhow, my post was about Nvidia not canceling RTX 50 or at least in my opinion. Those who started the rumours, like Intel cancelling their upcoming GPUs, are all with very strong AMD bias.
