Thanks, just went with the Ripjaws.Depends if you've configured the CPU to take advantage of it..
AMD Ryzen likes specific matched memory performance to the IO-die Fclock, otherwise you have to run it at half cycles.
3200Mhz = 1600mhz which is achievable by every chip
3600 = 1800mhz which should be achievable by the 95% percentile of chips unless you're unlucky.
It also matters if you've got an existing set of ram sticks, or if this pair will be the only one.
Are your workloads memory-bandwidth limited?
etc.
etc.
(hint, hwinfo64 will show you memory read/write bandwidth if you need to see if your CAD projects are memory-performance-constrained)

People hunt down the Maxsun ITX boards on AliExpress, but their VRMs run a bit hot, though still within the acceptable range. These Sapphire boards may be a little bit better. I am curious though whether Sapphire is making their own boards... They do well in this market; they are sure to release higher-end boards.
The only boards I am interested in nowadays are the Gigabyte boards. They seem to get the value right with their price positioning. I like Asrock, but they tend to be on the expensive side here. NZXT boards are all Asrock boards, but aren't sold here.
I so much want to have a small build PC. All my small builds are Raspberry 'builds', lol.
I see Wootware now has maxsun boards, price looks really good and has a 3 year waranty but no idea if its any good ?
From what I have read online over the time, Maxsun is reputable. Just don't choke the board in an air-restricted case. Today, there are several well-ventilated ITX cases.
Support Plan For Maxwell, Pascal & Volta Architecture GPUs, and Windows 10
After a final Game Ready Driver release in October 2025, GeForce GPUs based on Maxwell, Pascal, and Volta architectures will transition to receiving quarterly security updates for the next three years (through October 2028). Our support lifetime for these GPUs reaches up to 11 years, well beyond industry norms.
Also, we’re extending Windows 10 Game Ready Driver support for all GeForce RTX GPUs to October 2026, a year beyond the operating system’s end-of-life, to ensure users continue to receive the latest day-0 optimizations for new games and apps.
This was the build I was going for but case is out of stock, look for a sleak smaller case.
Just wait, that is a great ITX case. Email Wootware and ask when stock is expected. Both versions are cool. You won't have an issue with that case.
Basically aliexpress stuff now sold with wootware warrantyWho is MAXSUN and why are they so cheap?
Yup so going to give it a bash with the wootware warrantyBasically aliexpress stuff now sold with wootware warranty
Intel® XeSS 2 is now supported on other vendors GPUs! Developers can offer AI-based frame generation with low-latency technology to many more gamers by using the updated XeSS 2.1 SDK available today.

Yeab msi warranty ate support strict, they check motherbaords i book in before they book it in. Any marks etc they wont even book it in. Gigabyte I have given in rusted components they still replace itNever had issues with any products but people complaining about Asus / MSi warranties anyway so probably worth it. Also gona test out one of teh boards in a new rig
