Then get DSTV. If your a sports lover then DSTV is value for money, you only have to buy a rugby match ticket to realise this.

I on the other hand do not watch sport and cancelled my DSTV 5yrs ago as Discovery & History where not worth it for the subscription fees.

I will go TopTV as they cater for the other half. When you got little rugrats your TV is anyway going to be on family channels 24/7.

top tv get the real us fox stations or cbs that has update serries not old ones that was in the video store 3 years ago

We cannot get the US feed for the same reason we can't get Hulu. Something to do with copywrite laws, It's the same reason why you cannot US feeds of HBO, Fox and other American Channels

Why don't they create a Local SCI-FI channel, how hard can it be. Simply get access to the traditional Sci-fi stuff like the classic trek and the newer stuff, create some transitions and voila you are giving your people what they want. Hell I don't need local content initially and very little as time goes by so costs should remain pretty low.
 
Great new channels but what about all the current channels that need new content been watching the same stuff for the third month

Every channel has started repeating everything, Silver channel 112 no new movies since they started forth month now every day the same bunch of movies and no body at TTV can explain to me.

Licensing rules. Someone else, eg MNET or SABC or ETV own the license already for SA. That's why we couldn't get more than one season of MST3K on SciFi (DSTV) in SA in the 90s.

-TopOne +2 (2 hour timeshift)
- TopOne +24
- TopTwo
- TopThree
- TopFour
- TopFive
- TopSeries
- TopKitchen
- TopSoapies
- TopLifestyle
- TopDocumentaries
- TopMusic
- TopStuff
- TopAnimals
- TopRepeats
I think they all have potential to draw a considerable amount of new subscribers :P
 
Very cool. Yes, they repeat a lot BUT it lets me watch programs that I would never get the chance to watch otherwise. Also it allows me to watch OTHER channels too! Else I would be watching FLN all the time and never get to watch TopMovies or Dicovery X, or whatever :)

TopRepeats!?!? Is that just sarcasim, because I don't think TT needs a repeats channel by the sounds of it ;)
