New TopTV titles

Funny.

And here i was thinking TopTV would grace us with:

Full House
Knight Rider
Air Wolf
Inspector Gadget
Webster

and the clincher...

Golden Girls.
 
I think I will watch Urban Legend and The Big Hit since I have not watched them before.

But how come TTV hasn't provided more info regarding new channels?
 
"New" titles?

Urban Legend - 12 years old.
The Big Hit - 12 years old.
Apt Pupil - 12 years old.

Frankly, it's embarrassing that they're even proud to advertise this.

I'm all for supporting the little guy, especially in South Africa, where we've been intellectually and financially raped for years by a monopoly.
The problem is that they're now almost 7 months in and yet still advertising the fact that they've just acquired 12-year-old "new" content.
It's very close to the time where they can no longer use the fact that they're a 'young' company as an excuse for 2nd-rate content anymore.
 
All of these movies have been on etv many times. Big Hit was on again a few weeks ago.
You are paying for content you can get for free .... on e!

Showtime, the real Showtime airs Dexter elsewhere. Is this not the same Showtime?
Quite frankly, TTV seems to be a very expensive version of the SABC

When I was A kid I always sat on my grandfathers lap in the rockking chair and watch the series. (brings back memory)

Can some 1 please look on the top tv website and see if Dexter season 2 Its Alive, starts on sunday or are they going to repeat season 1 again

You hit the nail on the head!
Persoally just get their R99 bundle for news. The other channels like Fox and Fox FX are terrible. For example they are repeating seasons 1-3 of Stargate over gain for the 4th time. They showing Greys Anatomy now seasons 1-3, but after season 3 ends it gets repeated again from season 1 and in 2 months time again and again and again...bleh
Their is a backlash looming for TopTV. They better start spending the money and get Modern. 12 year old movies and series like Relic Hunter and Tropical Heat from 1998 that is on repeat from 1 May when they launched is crazy.
