New Uncapped Product ?

Guys,

This question is in the open so that everyone can benefit from it.

Would anyone use or buy an uncapped product that does not support p2p at a much lower cost. but example gaming, email and http

so you could have a
uncapped (limited) - http and email
uncapped (gaming) - http, email and gaming

all running via SAT3
 
Yes, but seen as Location, Location, Location makes no difference, all we're left with is: Price, Price, Price.

It would have to be nice and favourable.

I am interested in sumthing which is locally uncapped and can take multiple cons. IS news server please :P. International not really needed but will be a plus (not that fast needed). Thanks if possible

Would this include being able to download updates etc or is it strictly browsing and email? :confused:
 
Would be very interested. But as mentioned, must be able to download files etc, from websites. Dont use P2P. I assume the option for HTTP and Email will be cheaper than HTTP, Email and gaming.

But obviously all depends on how much cheaper.
 
Most ppl use international for torrents wich is P2P.

Most uncapped accounts are over R1300 +- , the ppl who buy those don't use local news server much, but alot of international torrents.

If we want local data we don't need uncapped u can rather buy 3x (2gig international/30gig local accounts) from Openweb @ R159 per account = Total of R477 *u then have 6gigs of international, and i found that they sometimes allow 35 to 40gig local*
 
Something like this would be most welcome for me but that said, my friend cancelled his IS uncapped service thru OpenWeb due to extremely slow speeds during the day.

On who's backbone will this be provided?

Yes please..... If the price is right. Can the play America's Army all day long...:D

Not to worried about torrents and stuff, got enough friends downloading the stuff I need. :D LOL

Browsing & E-mail also very important... ;)

Ok, We have had some brain storming sessions and this is what we have come up with so far. All bandwidth is SAIX (Fiber). All packages will be able to download all updates (linux, Microsoft etc)

1. Uncapped (Http, Email Msn)
2. Uncapped (Http, Email, Gaming, Msn, Skype)
3. Uncapped (Http, Email, Gaming, Msn, Skype, News Server)

Packages wll also come it 192, 384, 512, 1mb, 4mb.

All solutions will be router based, you can provide your own router and we will configure it or we provide the router. We can dynamically change your package on a monthly basis. Please send me an emai or post it here, anyone who email me directly will have the opertunity to beta test the product we need 5 people from diffrent locations and ADSL line speeds.

http and email is all I would need. (option 1)
Will this be bundeld with "adsl access"? (that one piece product thing from Telkom)
I have 384k - price range? - any ideas?

Okay, then here is the other question.

I use a TorrentFlux server, which has the capacity of 180GB at any given time. It downloads my torrents and I can fetch the data via HTTP from the server, located in Germany.

Will this be a breach of use?
