New WhatsApp features launched

I was surprised. I got a call from a friend travelling through the UK this morning and we chatted for a good twenty minutes as if a perfectly normal conversation.

Extra amusing is that it was better than any Vodacom call in my house where getting signal is always an impossible Yoga move away.

I had a good 2 minute call on Edge once. The other party was on H+.

This was presumably both on wifi.

But still usually use FaceTime because most people I call have iPhone and because WhatsApp was pretty shocking before.
