You could expand the feature to exclude "selected" numbers from the delay send list.So regardless of receipient. All messages gets sent after 30s?
Why not send a recorded voice message?No one I know uses voicemail anymore. If someone does not answer, I send them a quick message telling them I called and why. I dont think my voicemail is even active.

Like it does in other services.
The WhatsApp client can remove the message if it receives a special instruction.
If the receiver had didn't seen it, they'll never know they missed it.
If they saw it, the message will be removed, but they obviously cannot unsee it.
It the receiver was quick enough to take screenshot, well then you are out of luck.
