Hey, I just don't get to news.saix.net at all.

Ever.

With axxess accounts, or telkom accounts.

I've even done IS and pppoe'd and nothing, even if i add a static route to news.saix.net, nada.

Using Billion router, nothing strange configured on there.

are you able to telnet to the host news.saix.net on port 119?

I've had issues lately connecting to news.saix.net with nzb programs. So you might not be the only one.

yes I am able to telnet to it on port 119 just fine, it's just pan or klibido that has hassles (ubuntu)

not that this is really a solution but I'd recommend trying sabnzbd; have had no problems with it and can access it from a web-portl from anywhere.
