Which is to say thrown out with the other used garbage when something better comes along.

I understand what you are trying to convey, was pointing out a technicality for the general public. Though again, I must point out that just being able to satisfy their needs does not equate to yours being satisfied in return, to an extent. Being able to accomplish DIY tasks, household chores, cooking, etc, will still not make you the shining star that she will bend to. As I stated earlier, I honestly believe the Ladder Theory is the truth (for the purposes of this thread, i'm referring to the "Nice guy anomaly" and not the "friends and sex paradox"), in short there are only two qualities that matter and those being monetary wealth and physical attractiveness, everything else that follows is either implied, can be achieved using the previous two qualities, such as paying a master chef to cook your food instead of you cooking the food, or of little relevance, such as "a person who can make me laugh" (which can be achieved by using money to buy tickets to see a comedian, instead of being a comedian).
 
Well sit yourself down in a wheelchair and try flirting with a girl or just be nice. Mostly they just pretend you did not look at them and walk away, or they get that pity look in their eye's and i walk (wheel) away. Don't get me wrong me and myself are very good friends but what girl i her right mind will look twice at you if you are in a wheelchair even if you are a good or a bad guy.

Their loss. She losses somebody genuine and you lose somebody who wouldn't respect for who you are anyway I suppose.

But yeah when my health derailed I also noticed the cold shoulder. Sick/disabled is dull and boring after all.

That's not "manning up" that's being used and pathetic.

If being an arrogant domineering douche bag devoid of "feelings" who just wants to **** qualifies as a "man" then count me out. Not something I'd embrace in an attempt to attract more wimminz thanks.

No need to go extreme to 'man up'. Every girl is different are'nt they? So you get those that want the main man and the girls that prefer the nice guy. But to get her attention you gotta have something special...so most guys are nice guys = nothing special there. Girls don't want ranting douch bags either I suppose but I'm almost sure they don't want flimsy wimsies either...to start off with. But once they have you everything changes anyway, then you become what they want you to be or else...
 
The douch bag that sad nice guys want to sleep with the girl, that's not always true hey
