Night Owl Questions

Why does it take someone to make an issue here before a system is put in place to address an issue. Ginggs' issue with the (so-called) advantage Bundles refer too...

I have to agree with this. Marketing seems to be about 2 months ahead of the department responsible for implementation of the advertised item.

Those changes were always on the cards , with Ginggs help we just got the process going quicker.

The balance displayed on *111#,1,5 seems to update with your morning's usage at about midday.

Just a question , what are your comments / complaints rearding this product?

I am disappointed that it
1) only applied to 1GB bundles.
2) only applied to contract users.
3) had no easy way for users to check balances at date of inception.
4) was yet another attempt to delay offering better value across the entire 3G service.

On the plus I am glad that Vodacom is exploring ways to utilise their network in the quiet times albeit nowhere nearly as enticing as iBurst was doing.

VodacomData: The message I would like you to send to Mount Olympus is that I for one am tired of the gimmick and one-off offers being tossed down to consumers. I want to see Vodacom start offering a long term competitive service again. Before the ADSL price drops one could actually consider 3G as a feasible option if you were a low data user (3GB or less). Now the only decision is if you want to be mobile or not. If not don't look any further than ADSL. It is clear that ADSL providers are using the cheaper international bandwidth to offer better bang for buck, yet at Vodacom (and MTN) none of this has filtered down to the consumer. It's truly a sad state of affairs.

Thanks, but this needs to go to management more than anything else. :)

Apart from the initial issues; firstly, not being able to purchase the bundle (has this been fixed yet?) and then not being able to check the available balance, it has been great. I will continue to use this product in September.

I finished the 1.0GB Night Owl bundle during this weekend, and data immediately started coming off the regular 1.0GB bundle, no mess, no fuss.

No Nightshift 1Gb activated with 1Gb BB Advance

I have not had the 1Gb nightshift loaded onto my account. I was under the impression that if I bought a 1 Gb Broadband Advanced I would receive the nightshift 1 Gb. I am on a Top-Up 315s contract.

Any help?
