I have a Switch. Never disconnected the joycons and never docked it. Did not do that with Vita either.
I have a switch. Never disconnected the joycons (besides to install an RCM jig
), but have never played it not docked.Guess it's up to your individual use case, and if you think the R1500 premium is worth it
I bought a blue one and it's lovely. Also got a grip for cheap from BidorBuy.
So far I've played quite a few demos and bought a few digital games for cheap on special. Currently playing Doom 3 BFG & Ni No Kuni. Great little machine and because I waited this long to get one, massive list of games I want to play on it.
I bought the yellow one. Waiting for delivery.
Hoping to play some Overwatch2 and Paladins on it over the holiday when I'm away.

I even collected all 900 Korok seeds just to stay in Hyrule. Just an incredible world to explore
Got my device this morning.
Have been playing the whole day. It's a pretty decent device and my first Nintendo device. I love.

What are you playing
For now just the 3 games that mostly played on PC. Paladins, Overwatch2 and a bit of Rocket League. I will see if I can get a decent deal on Zelda BOTW because that looks really good and suggested.

Nintendo first party titles rarely go on discount. Usually around Black Friday but maybe around Christmas/New Year there could be a sale. May have to be patient. Even at full price it's worth every cent
Super Mario Odyssey is also one to look into
So what is the "used" games like for Nintendo? I don't see them as often as say xbox or playstion games.

Yeah unfortunately Nintendo has a very small footprint in SA
Your best bet will be a bargain bin at BT Games. You won't see a great selection but may be surprised. I have 2 physical games, everything else is on the eShop

If you do get around to BoTW, it's customary to drop the rock on the Korok dudes head. It's hilarious.... every single time

BOTW is timeless man. The only thing I really want for the new game is better ground textures.

Any specific games you want to play?
It does not seem like fun but give Animal Crossing a go.
Its not like racing, fighting, where you have to constantly be paying attention. Just a lekker world building game while you watch Youtube in the background

Still having a great time with Rabbids. Really satisfying playing through a level multiple times till you finally crack it with only one character left. Dare I say it's my goty
