What's your budget on the dock though?

I'm old, and need to close one eye to see something on anything smaller. :)

Actually, the 40" used to be our main TV till we got em 4K consoles so had to "upgrade" to 58"

Edit: Around R1K but if that Takealot one works it should be ok. Just need something simple that the Mrs can use.

There was something about 3rd party docks bricking systems because Nintendo in their infinite wisdom didn't follow USB C standards regarding power delivery, but I think that's been addressed awhile back and hopefully never crops up again

Thanx for this but I hate you right now.... well actually I dont, I hate Nintendo for this f up.

Gonna have to send that order back and buy official. The gambling aspect really sucks big time, and not willing to risk it.

Hate me and Ninty! but in all seriousness, better safe than sorry at the end of the day.
Granted the dock isn't cheap, but sure is cheaper than a new switch

Yeah, I looked at one of those but sucked it up and bought a used original for my daughters switch that didn't come with one.
 
Got an hour or so into the game. It's really something special. Performance isn't great though - I'm getting between 20-30fps on my PC with a 5800x and 32gb ram. And lots of graphical issues. Think it needs a few weeks for the devs to optimize it. I might as well stop and wait to get it on my Switch.

Which country store did you order from? Seems a bit quick to get it on release day if it's coming from Europe? Hope so, but just curious.
