Nintendo Switch Game Recommendations?

Has anyone tried these third party Joycon clones?

My kids somehow managed to mount the strap rail on upside down and it got so stuck it was impossible to make it loose without opening the controller.

Got that sorted but then like an absolute amateur I slipped and broke the ZIF socket of the charging rail ribbon cable.

Of course it was my one nice property working Joycon, maybe I’ll pull the analog stick out and put it in the other busted one.

Anyway it R720 vs R1499 for what is my third in line console so I wonder how bad can it be, considering how bad the official product is to start with.

Then I also question if it makes more sense to pickup an entire Switch second hand for R2500-R3500 and each kid has one to play on.

Personally use Hori and I see they still have the red one, in stock and on sale over @ Nintendo.

That looks really nice.... and a great price.

I have two generic switch controllers from Takealot which are fine considering the price but also looking for spare joycons.

I have that. It's a great feeling controller. Only downsides are no rumble and no wireless play. Still it's so much more comfortable that I can't go back to joy cons.

That strap rail issue is a design problem, you are able to put it on incorrectly and then it will jam.
The trick though is to pull out that white tab on the rail, it definitely helps get it off.

I use this so that the joycons don't get too smashed:

Do you know exactly which ones you have? Oh it’s those full controllers you linked.

Are they distinguishable from the originals?

Looks suggest these are identical just no NFC.

This wasn’t just incorrectly, this was completely upside down and impossible to release by hand between two people.

Managed to transplant the good analog stick at least to my other one so I have 3 halves of Joycon at least.

I could buy a Pro controller for less money that new originals but mostly use it mobile and then might as well hack it and use the PS5 controller which is infinitely better.

Can’t believe how badly these are made, definitely not worth R1500.

Still can’t believe the ZIF socket disintegrated by hardly touching it. Was a pure miracle the analog stick transplant worked with success.

Nah I have a working set at least.

This would be purely for the split wireless use with the kids.

Crazy they sell singles on the store for almost as much as a dual set.

Agreed, the build quality is shocking for something that will get smashed around a lot.
When you compare them to the Wii remote they are worlds apart.

This! Compared to Nintendo stuff of old this is pretty poor form all round. I don't ever remember any Nintendo product having as many issues and I only skipped on the Wii U.
