Nintendo Switch Game Recommendations?

The drift is a pain which I had on the v1 console, but with a pro controller and now the 8bitDo controller I’ve used for a while, it’s not an issue. But quality aside, I guess it’s just getting used to new configurations as well if you are not used to the Nintendo layout compared to the PS or XB. I’d be interested to know if you are new to Switch/Nintendo?

But great to know you are enjoying the game. I played through twice at well over 300 hours each time. It really is a classic and TOTK has the same feel and replayability.

Thats why I remap 8Bitdo keys to Xbox/PS configuration.

Rely on mussel memory so don't care what buttons are called.

Guys is Nintendo online any good?

Please share your thoughts?

We did for a while but turned it off. We wanted the happy home academy for Animal Crossing but ended up buying it. If you do a lot of online gaming then I’d say probably. My take is don’t get it at first, get a few games, then try it for a month once you’ve played without it.

I am big on retro gaming so will probably activate it. The kids can play the new stuff, i will enjoy the oldies.

It's really stupid you can't buy those outright...and yet if you pirate them you can so there is no reason Nintendo can't just sell them directly other than being greedy.

Whats more baffling is that you were able to buy them on Wii & Wii U.
Switch dropped that and Nintendo went, nope!, only rent and only a limited selection.

What interface is that? Emulation on PC I would guess?

I bought Premium to access BigBox frontend for Windows.
Normal LaunchBox is Free

Its just a frontend, but manage and install emulators like Dolphin and Xemu for you

Not really. It's a bit overwhelming the first time you set all up. Updates thereafter are straight forward.

Love my unpatched V1, won't get sold ever.
Cowboy sorted me out with Hwfly / Picofly for my Switch Lite, dude does Gods work honestly lol.
With the chip its even easier than the jig method so no frustration at all.

Also means I can sell my unpatched v1 xD

Ok so no issues with firmware updates, sigpatches etc on picofly?
None at all. Very very easy. Update Official FW as per usual, update CFW on emuMMC using daybreak to the latest supported firmware by Atmosphere. Really painless process.

I use sthetix hats pack and sys-patch

Okay the one pain factor might be sourcing the games and updates but iykyk

Calling all Star Fox fans

Something I did not know, Starlink: Battle for Atlas Nintendo Switch Edition (an Ubisoft game) actually has a Star Fox Switch Exclusive.

If you play it on Switch, you can play as Fox McCloud flying the Arwing, making it a modern-day Star Fox game. I know its like 6 years late, so getting physical starter packs is mission impossible, but there is a digital-only version that regularly goes on sale as well.

Might be worth looking out for. I know there is an Official Star Fox in development, but this is good filler for the time being.
