Nintendo Switch Game Recommendations?

Another one I like is Pokopia.

It is waaay different than what I expected.

Animals Crossing but Pokemon.
Is there any reason, that you may have noticed, as to why it is a Switch 2 exclusive?

I can't imagine why it wouldn't run on the Switch. Just to sell more Switch 2 perhaps?

Compared to Animals Crossing, it has way more things to load. Like the blocks and stuff.

But then again Minecraft runs on a Switch 1.
Maybe the smooth edges and detail vs Minecraft.

Also all the stuff happening at once with active Pokemon walking around.

If they can get TotK working on the Switch, I just wonder about games like Pokopia

If they really wanted to I am sure they could have gotten in working on the Switch. Maybe they prioritised performance over sales

Yeah, compared to the miracle that is BoTW, they could have made a Switch 1 version.

And? How is it?
So far so good. Still early days, i am have just unlocked the farming life. Seems to take a little while to open up fully and unlock most aspects to the game before you can sink your teeth in.

This long weekend I'm sure I will progress quite a bit further.

On a side note, I ordered the talking flower and awaiting delivery :)

You can always be a ****.

Listen, listen...

Join a group online, wait to start a dungeon...switch to farmer and bammm!!! Moerse lvl increase.

Let us know how cool the flower is.

I wanted to buy but Amiibo was R2800 or something.

I'm still watching the Nintendo website for any sales. Eventually ordered the flower from Takealot as delivery is free if i collect from my local PnP

Amiibo is too expensive without sales

So I'm about 40 hours in now. Chose the Paladin combat class and am about level 42 now. Woodcutting, mining and fishing I have found reasonable enough to level up without feeling too grindy.

I'm now forced to level up the crafting lives as part of the main story to make those parts for the cog. They level up quite quickly so hopefully it isn't too bad

Enjoyable game, so much to do. Finally catching that boss fish, or cutting down a massive tree is a great sense of accomplishment

i have the demo downloading to try tonight. Looks like a good old school Zelda type game

My Switch has been sitting idle since getting the Switch 2. I'm trying to set it up for my brother so that he can play the games, linked to my account, but with his profile.

When TotK released I managed to setup the Switch Lite for niece as the primary console so that she didn't need to connect every time, although I did which was ok. Everything worked fine

Now this virtual game card nonsense is there and has complicated the matter further. I unpaired the Switch Lite which I'm guessing was a big mistake as now games won't load via licence as before but insisting on the VGC.

Any idea how I go about getting this setup? I don't want us having to meet up every so often to share these stupid VGC's and want them to be able to use the online license. Even though the online license is active on the user settings, it isn't working

Any guidance would be appreciated. Nintendo have this really difficult
