Hi all,
I have been experiencing extremely unstable ADSL connectivity in the Wonderboom (Pretoria) area, and since yesterday my ADSL does not sync anymore (I believe the router has finally decided the attenuation and SNR is just too poor). I am on a supposed-to-be 10Mbps line, and although I've had many problems in the past few years, it would generally sync at 8Mbps. See below for last sync stats before line completely dropped.

I reported the problem on the 4th of October (a month ago) - and since then I've been contacting Telkom at least once a week. All I keep getting told is that they will fix the problem. The latest feedback I got is that it will be fixed by tomorrow - I can't help doubting this.
Can someone from Telkom please give me a more clear indication of what I actually wrong, and what the realistic time to repair is? Is it only my line, is it damaged/defective hardware at the exchange (I think I'm on Sinoville exchange - TSVL02)? I need to plan on how much money I'm going to have to fork our on LTE so I can work and continue with critical research.
Please, anything will help
Please PM if you need line number, reference numbers or anything.
