No DSL infrastructure in your area

Lived in Northriding for quite sometime, the exchange does support broadband but with the rapid expansion it never got upgraded. I moved to Wilgeheuwel which is around 7km away and they have exactly the same problem. Telkom isn't planning on doing any expansions either from the looks of it as I've lived in my place now for two years and nada still.

Just phoned Telkom...
I requested an ADSL on 7 Dec 2011. Expected time for my ADSL is before 28 April 2012. (wasn't it earlier in March? 90 workdays?)
Got Telkom to install just a Telkom phone line due to Cell phone reception. The number is 011 462 ****

So, less than 2 months later and I have the ADSL

The number I have is a 011 704 xxxx.

Anyway - just curious on the link. They say max ADSL speed 4096 - but 10mbps enabled?
Aren't they same thing and should be equal?
