In my opinion NMS is a game suited to a unique audience, personally I have never said that NMS is a bad game. I did, however, advocate that Hello Games in partnership with Sony sold the game on a lie and have reached success where it was not due. Interestingly enough, their actions have resulted in purchase returns and a huge player base decline. Knowing this, Sean Murray has not once been unsettled at riding his BS hype train.
Enough is enough, the above had been discussed to death and there are numerous reddit threads where these conversations may continue. The only reason that I am making this post is due to comparisons being made with Elite: Dangerous (and Horizons) and Star Citizen, really?
No Man’s Sky is nowhere as mechanically advanced as Elite: Dangerous, not to mention that ED is only now in the second phase and have many phases (or seasons) to go. Yes, ED is more expensive, much more expensive by adding the seasons together, but to remember that NMS came into the market by competing directly with the AAA titles at $60 a pop, not ignoring that NMS will have paid DLC which also went against their own DLC will be gratis statement. I urge that the comparison making stops, the way NMS was compared to Star Citizen in the SC thread was ridiculous.
The gaming activists already had their say, the YouTube reviewers had their say, the media outlets had their say, I had my say and so have others. Leave the game be and have the players discuss their own game in their own thread and not to bring NMS into SC or ED threads, the same applies to the NMS threads. I’m talking about my dick is bigger than your dick discussions.
The EVE Online community must be laughing, seriously.
