I have spent hours drifting around one planet looking for ships. I found about three. The first two had less slots than what I had. The third had one more.
So with a heavy heart I gave up my semi-decent looking ship and fixed up the launch thrusters and the pulse engines of what I found, and off I went.
After spending more ridiculous time manually looking for ships, I realised that I was wasting my time. And I switched to the legit way - find a beacon thingy, create bypass chip, choose transmission, and so on.
And I came off even worse

It never sent me to any ships. It was just random outposts with that trading module thing, or more transmission towers, or monoliths.
So here I am - in limbo with my poor amount of slots, with an eyesore of a tube ship.
I'm starting to think that trading and buying is just easier!
