There's an account on Instagram that runs a series of Ai generated Scifi Fantasy videos about The Carrot empire invading the Broccolians or some such, amongs other things. Quite interesting, think there's bunnies in there as well

For some reason this ran like arse on my Ally, so I've not touched it for a year or so. Should try again, but man when you've not played for awhile it's hard to figure out what you were doing.

Maybe start a new game/save? I'm going to do that because I think the previous update introduced some improvements to the main story which I wanted to check out.

Yeah I am thinking that, cause I literally have no idea what I'm doing. I just don't know if I wanna sit through that starting sequence again. But it has been like 4 years since I started a game, has that changed?

I think I only started playing NMS in 2022 so the opening sequence may have been improved? I think it's only a few minutes before they dump you on a random planet. If I don't have a nearby cave I usually start a new save anyway.

Unless you mean the initial tutorial bit of tracking down your ship and then getting the required parts? That is still there, not sure if they have an option to bypass it now.

Yeah that part sucks, and I do have quite a few S-tiered ships in my freighter. Though my freighter is only B Class :), I didn't know you should rather fly around and look for a better one. Instead of just accepting the first one offered to you.
Plus hope base building is better, cause the terrain clipping through also sucked :-). Or in some cases growing back, I had my cave base disappear.

You can always buy a new freighter ;) but yes, waiting a bit and lucking out with a better free freighter is good! Having said that, I'm not super sure about the advantages of a better freighter anyway. I think I usually end up with an A class.

Don't get your hopes up about base building :ROFL: I still sometimes see rock and grass in the middle of my bases. I tend to use cuboids and build up so I don't get annoyed by it.

Yeah my B class freighter is doing it's job, I've got a bunch of upgrades on it that I cannot find an S class that matches it.
