No Man's Sky

@Lupus you playing the new expedition? I'm enjoying it, taking it very easy though as only finished phase 1 so far. Seeing a few new things from the latest update. If you get a new ship, move the atlantid drive from the starting ship!

Nope not as yet, I will need to start it than :-) cause I've been playing Galactic Civ 3 and right now one race is just peeving me off, a really fight of he takes a planet I take a planet. Problem is it's really a game of attrition and he's winning.

Space chess? Doesn't sound fun :p Having said that, one of my longtime fave games is Civ: Beyond Earth so might have to check out Galactic Civ.

Think the expedition is out for 6 weeks so you've got plenty of time.

Well Galactic 4x, currently the next strongest races aren't strong enough to even give this guy a run for his money and I'm not struggling, but I'll get there I do have for more planets at the moment thanks to a few civs giving me their planets to help fight that guy.

Whew, this game is deeeeeep ..... 100 odd hours in and finally got my first S Class sentinel ship kitted out. So much to do, loving it

Have you tried an expedition? Worth checking out now you know the game well!

Love my Sentinel, take it on all expeditions :-)

There seems to be some annoying glitches after this patch. On pc this black that creeps over when you're opening boxes or using consoles. General glitch on moon is if you go further than 20u under water it shoots me back to the surface.
Plus performance feels more stuttery

I had some stutters on PC as well when I first played the update but didn't notice them much during the expedition. Haven't played my main game much recently to notice the other issues you mentioned but did have some bubbles and water effects continuing on land after I came out of the water.

Did you finish the expedition?

I started the expedition yesterday, almost through phase 1, but the bugs were annoying. Did do parts of other phases, the easy ones while you're on the moons. I've got one more moon to find for that 5 moons thing and the stupid gas giant obscures things.

I don't remember having issues completing anything but I often jump around systems so may have done some of the tasks elsewhere. I remember when I joined my friend's game that it chucked me into a nearby system, was very odd as he was still in the first system and I hadn't left that system in my game.

If you change ships, take the atlantid drive out of the starter ship! My friend didn't do that and we had to gather supplies so he could rebuild it.

Yeah going to be taking that, plus will take this S class jetpack mod as well :-) may even take the multitool as it looks pretty cool when I finish the expedition.
Just need to find that last moon and I can warp out of this system and get my ship :-)

I don't think you can take the atlantid drive back to your main game after the expedition, pretty sure I wanted to and it didn't work  But when you collect your ship after the warp move the atlantid drive over for the rest of the expedition. I think you can only take one multi tool back to the main save and there might be another one you'll want to take instead of the current one ;)

In my main game I still need to do the autophage storyline and then should be able to do the story to get the purple systems to show up.

That'd suck if you can't take it with :-( hopefully the other stuff I can. Though will see

I think it's because they make us do the end game story to get the atlantid drive. There were a few special materials I couldn't bring across either but everything else was as normal and you can take it back with you.
