No uncapped data plans from Vodacom: CEO

In other news.... Vodacom: "No plans to stop our gravy train"

While Vodacom will not launch any uncapped data packages, the new Vodacom CEO said that Vodacom will launch new products and price plans to [-]remain [/-]become competitive in the market.

There, corrected it for you.
PS. "new products and price plans" should probably have been called CONtracts in any case

Please explain how you can "abuse" an uncapped account? By definition that is impossible.

Larger capped packages 25/50/100GB, at reasonable prices is all I want! But won't get anytime soon.

Eish, was anyone expecting different?

also, what a fake smile.

Yes that is reasonable. I understand. BUT that doesn't mean that you should be offering 100mb (or nothing most of the time) and expect us to believe your network is mucho superior if thats all it can handle.

Vodacom, kindly proceed with the following:

When I read "remain competitive", I interperet that as them planning to stay back and follow other operator price cuts. They will never lower prices unless they have to, in order to "remain competitive".

LOL

Such a smug comment from Vodacom. Here, this is me pointing my middlefinger at you. So glad i took all my business to a company that makes you look like the fools that you are.

But hey, keep it up, see how it worked out for Telkom to rape their customers

In the next episode of data wars, vodascum continues its downward trend refusing to peer at any INX's and offering expensive rations of data!

December I will finally have some extra cash. Joining the WUG with it I think.

I don't understand. Did Vodacom ever offer the uncapped package in the first place? Whose network did they use to figure out that 1% of users will generate 40% of usage? South African, American, European, International? 2005,2012?
