Noah's Ark project in US to move forward

Why wouldn't wood hold, when most of ancient ships were made with wood?
Do you know the dimensions of the boat described in the KJV? If you could manage to build a boat of that size, using wood, it would sink empty since it would be waaay to heavy, let alone remain assembled without water pressure on the outside once you start filling it with cargo.

Stop trolling, rza.

(Genesis 7:2-3) - "You shall take with you of every clean animal by sevens, a male and his female;

Clean animals refers to those that could be used in the sacrifice = lambs, goats, pigeons

All others were two of each.

It took 120 years to built, so I do know about it. But I still don't get why u think it would sink when ships were built by wood at the time.

Its an engineering thing.. you wouldn't understand.

Surely that 73mil could be better spent? With US of A's economy being how it is, how can you just throw around so much money for such trivial things?

Ask a mate with a degree in engineering why it is not possible to build a boat with the dimensions described out of wood.

It would sink because there are psychical limits to how large you can build a boat out of wood. It would just break apart if it encountered even the slightest external forces.

However you know this already and you're just trolling.

And this ark was subject to flood waters on an unimaginable scale.

Wooden nails and pitch - nah.

Why are we arguing if it can be done when they are doing it?
