Thanks a mill digidruid, I just ordered mine.

Strange how I've been phoning them twice a month for the last 3 months and I kept getting the same old reply "It will be available in 2 months time" but when you phone and order (no questions about when it will be available) you get it within a week. :confused:
 
Have had this phone for a week now. Been trying through MTN headoffice for over 2 months, so I walked into a MTN service branch in Secunda and had the phone in 4 days :-). Graphics are a bit slow though and battery a little poor when using it alot.

Try flashing the firmware, got to http://europe.nokia.com/softwareupdate and get the latest version. It might just help.
 
Well the phones (E70's) are definately out there. I just hope they hit the MTN SP shops soon.
 
E60?

Hi MTN DD,

Is there STILL no news of the E60? I saw preliminary reviews of this phone dated October 2005, and MTN is still not able to offer it to us?

Good day,

When I look at the stock list we have a number of these handset's that were supposed to have been recieved, have you checked with MTN Direct? If not I'll check and advise tomorrow

I phoned my local MTN agent last week, and was told that the E60 was still not on their pricelist as being available to me. I'll try again tomorrow.
