I think it was mostly aimed at American shops. I've played with one, it's not bad. Screen was rather amazing. But I prefer my Nokia over it any time.
 
Cellphone manufacturers, mostly those that load Android on their phones, hate to optimize.

They rather upgrade the hardware than optimize the software. That's why they don't load Windows Phone as an OS, because instead of optimizing drivers etc. They rather release a new model with a octa core CPU.

And even with its Octa Core its still running crap. Its honestly not excusable. i mean a device running at 2.8Ghz, 8 cores, 3gb ram, and the OS lags, W (the actual) F.

The Iphone 6 still has a farking dual core 1.4 with 1gb ram, and it runs circles around these octacore 3gb ram devices, then those same people want to tell me how superior their Android OS is to IOS or WP, that's BS man.

You know, playing around with the 930... I know it's a pretty hardcore machine with decent specs. No octocore, but it's decent none the less. Recording a 1080p video and then switching to do some sound recording, and then jumping back to the camera to take pics and finally going back to the game I played before starting all this is seamless. There's no noticeable lag, and it just amazes me how smooth it all worked.
I'm very curious how this would perform if there was an sd card slot and everything was being saved on the card.

My Windows Phone (1320) is a dual core, with 1 GB ram, this phone is simply not capable of lagging.
My Android device (P6) with its quad core and 2 gb ram, well, you cant mention the 2 phones in the same sentence.

Me as well, I will never in my life, ever again buy a Android device.
Its IOS or Nokia/Lumia, since im not paying 10k for a phone, Lumia/Nokia it will be.
 
Okay, I know remember why I prefer Waze to Drive+. This morning Drive+ sent me on a certain route, where I sat for 30 minutes waiting to get onto the highway. The ENTIRE 30 minutes Drive+ showed me that it would take 46 minutes to reach my destination - right up until I got onto the highway. I've checked all my settings, and traffic is enabled..

Current or not, Waze is going back onto my phone. It at least takes these delays into account.

On a separate note, and Windows 10 Preview hangs most often when I'm using the GPS. Sadly.

Considering that, I wouldn't install Win10 on my primary phone at the moment. It is after all a very early pre-release. They do state that there are a lot of things that would not work. Though saying that, I'd love to play around on it as well and can see why you did it.

:D Too true. There isn't much that doesn't work. Oh, and the second hang happened within minutes - and also seems to coincide with switching off the display. The first hang only happened about an hour into the commute - and that is the more common thing to happen. I'm finding workarounds, but there is enough working that I am able to use the phone. :)

Man that is such good news. WP just seems like such a solid OS. So I found a thread to install WP10 on any phone. For those interested. Not quite sure if I will do it yet.

Not particularly. The Photos app now pulls from OneDrive automatically, and the Calculator app is improved. The Settings are categorised, and the Quick Settings can be expanded. Apart from that and a few active notification improvements, there isn't enough to warrant moving to an Alpha Preview that for one (critical on a 730) doesn't even allow hiding the navbar.

Yes, I have my issues, but I'm helping test, so I put up with them - for now.
