Nokia N97

It wasn't a review guys, only comments on the Engadget site in response to a request by Engadget to tell them what people wanted changed on the N97.
 
Anyone have any idea when this phone will become a bit cheaper and maybe on some specials from any network?
 
What is the best dealy atm anywhere on the N97 anyway? why has there been so little news on the site regarding the N97 versus N95 back in the day.

I suppose its because the N97 has been shot down for its quirks as the N95 was in it early days. We all should all know by now that the first versions of nokia phones are usually rushed out and full of problems. N97 is one such case, the V10 software was terrible and left many a reviewer owner dissapointed to say the least. The self distructive camera lens is/was another issue.

Well Im please to say, as with the N95, the phone is maturing through its software updates to a point were I am very happy (bar the lens scratching) with the phone. V12 software has really improved the phones functionallity.

With the imminent :o arrival of V20 software (kinetic scrolling and all) I think this phone will soon be the phone it was meant to be on its release.
