Nootropics

If anyone has Noopept experience, I'd like to hear it. I've taken this daily for over a week now but have zero response from it.
Welcome to the world of nootropics :X3: . Most of the stuff I tried I wasn't sure if I just ingested a nootropic or a glass of milk. Got a bit manic from some things (aniracetam & coluracetam), felt nothing from other things (noopept, other 'racetams etc.). That said, a lot of these things the point isn't to 'feel something'...you're not gonna feel neurogenesis or whatever the substance is promoting.

If anyone has Noopept experience, I'd like to hear it. I've taken this daily for over a week now but have zero response from it. I've tried everything from 10mg-40mg. I've taken the capsule, taken it sublingually, taken it with MCT oil and even snorted it (not a good look). I am especially curious if you have tried the neuroactive brand as I'm beginning to think it's nothing but filler (as i have no way of testing this) or I am just a 100% non-responder.

Neuroactive brand works fine for me.

I have used neuroactive and seemed ok.
Noopept when I used it as a powder with CDP choline definitely had a cognitive effect for me.
I havent used neuroactive noopept before though

For the past 2 months (Jan and Feb) I've been taking Flordis Keenmind it works. I'm a programmer by profession and at times find it difficult to stay focused on one task so I noticed the pills improved my focus and concentration immensely and I can sit down for hours and complete tasks. My stack if finished so this month I'll be trying out Ultima Brain fuel.

So I've been taking Ultima brain fuel for about 3 days and I constantly had migraines, and it doesn't seem to be working for me. Keenmind so far the best smart drug I've taken. You can find them by Clicks, currently running a promotion were you can buy a pack 60 pills for R240. That's a one month supply.

Daily ritual:
  • 15 - 30 minutes of morning sun while reading a book. (No cellphone or any device used during this time.)
  • Cold showers
  • No coffee for the first 90 minutes after waking up. (I push this to about 2 - 3 hours as I study straight after reading) Caffeine ingestion after studying.
  • Eggs every morning. (Choline), I add garlic as well to reduce TMAO levels.

This has been my daily stack for about a week now but I've been taking the lions mane mushroom capsules along with omega 3 but I switched from the liquid to capsules as it gave me acid reflux.

I started with the lions mane then added alpha gpc, I then added cdp choline and all the rest.

I'll most likely get my blood tested just to ensure I'm not deficient in anything or that my levels are not too high.

Morning:
MultiVitamin
Biogen B Complex Super Potency
Biogen Vitamin D3 & Coconut Oil
The Real Thing Mega Omega Supreme; (Omega3) 1646mg - Thanks @saor for recommending

Neuromind - Alpha GPC: 150mg
Neuromind - CDP Choline (Citicholine): 250mg
Genologix - Bacopa Monnieri: 500mg
PrimeSelf - Lion's Mane Mushroom: 1000mg
Genologix - Gingko Biloba Extract: 500mg

Midday:
Neuromind - Alpha GPC: 150mg
Neuromind - CDP Choline (Citicholine): 250mg

Night:
Genologix - MindMag (Mag L-Threonate): 1500mg
Genologix - L-Theanine 300mg:

Every 3rd night:
Genologix - GABA: 1000mg

Notes:

I immediately noticed an improvement in memory rentation, the ability to focus on the task at hand and no more brain fog.
Water consumption is more frequent and consistent.

If you have any questions or suggestions I'd very much like your input.

Cannabis as a nootropic is not to be scorned. Sure, you will have to come down for a breather, but as a creativity enhancer it is superb. My best code was written while high.

Like any other mind altering substance I think this is subjective, most people can't concentrate when under the influence.

I was watching a bbc show where they debunked all vitamin supplements - the body apparently treats the elevated vitamin levels as a toxin and does it best to just eliminate them to a normal level.

"Elevated vitamin levels"

What happens when a patient is deficient?

Bacopa helps with memory and stress.
Lion's mane helps with inflammation in general.
Gingko also fairly anti-inflammation and maybe some other mental benefits for anxiety and such...YMMV.

Currently I've simplified what I do:
MSM and Chaga in the morning (will switch to Lion's mane instead as Chaga powder is stupidly hydrophobic). Basically after anti-inflammatory effects for muscle recovery and Chaga for allergy reduction.
2 Eggs in protein shake with Creatine in the afternoon. This is essentially a way to get more Choline and Protein as well as cholesterol.
Magnesium Glycinate in the evening if I feel I need it. Try to not over do this and there's magnesium in the MSM I take. Would mostly be to help with restful sleep.

1200mg NAC if I plan on drinking a substantial amount of alcohol.

I was doing NMN and Resveratrol for a bit they had a slight effect but not sure it's worth the added cost. I may add GlyNac later.

Still think biggest 'nootropic' is a ketogenic diet.

Two of the best things on that list. I also don't touch my phone until at least an hour or two after waking. If I look at my phone as soon as I wake I can often have my mood quickly altered by the content I'm looking at. Prefer letting my brain wake up without concentrated stimulus like that.

I dont think it would be all supplements.
I know iron supplements for example do make a difference, magnesium helps with certain deficiencies

Added L-Tyrosine to the list and considering dropping CDP-Choline as I get a sufficient amount from eggs every morning. I found the combination of Magnesium-L-Theronate and L-Theanine has allowed me to keep a consistent sleep schedule, I also have an ice cold shower right before bed.

Bacopa Monnieri + Gingko Biloba and Lion's mane mushroom have contributed individually or all together to excellent memory retention although I feel the introduction of CDP-Choline along with the Alpha GPC and morning eggs could potentially be negatively affecting these gains?
