Not impressed with Have2Have this time

I've only ever bought from www.have2have.co.za once before, but the experience was so good that I decided to use them again. This time around I had a very poor experience. It's not anywhere as bad as most stories, where they give you the constant run-around, but surely after having ordered something more than a week ago, when their website said they had stock of a specific item, one should have at least had some progress on the order? There has been absolutely no progress on my order. The estimated delivery date was today, more than a week later, and still the status of my order hasn't changed since they accepted the credit card payment on the day after I ordered it. I contacted them a few times and all they say is that most goods takes about 5 days before it is shipped. Their website and email system is good in that whenever there is progress with your order, you get an email from them but I placed an order on the 30th of January and I still don't have the thing I ordered, not even any progress emails or on their website when I log in etc. I am not impressed at all. Am I being unreasonable? Has anyone else had bad experience using them?
 
The amount of hello peter posts is too damn high!

If they have it in stock with them then I don't see why they can't ship the next day, if "in stock" actually means in stock with supplier then 5 days is pretty normal

Thank you for your positive feedback from your last shopping experience, we appreciate the kind feedback. As we are not a retailer, we keep no stock at any stage, nor do we ever advertise having stock. All stock listed is listed on behalf of sellers and we order from the store who are advertising their items for sale on Have2Have as and when you order.

When an item is sourced from a USA based store, we can provide great tracking, as the USA based stores provide regular updates and therefore we can provide tracking information each step of the way. This has got us great reviews if we say so ourselves.

Sadly the local stores do not offer this level of service, and from the time we order with them until it reaches our JNB office we have no tracking information that we can pass on to our customers. However once the item reaches our JNB office normal tracking resumes. I do not have your name or order number so I cannot research your specific query, but I do know that USA based stock ordered on 30 Jan would've had a delivery estimate indicated as between Tuesday 07 February 2012 to Wednesday 15 February 2012, thus I assume you have ordered item/s coming from a local store?

Once the item reaches our office we dispatch same day with detailed tracking info sent via email(unless received after 3pm and then dispatched next business day).
 
Thanks for your reply, but the estimate I got was Thursday 02 February 2012 to Tuesday 07 February 2012 (today). That means it was probably local? Either way, it just seems strange that for a local supplier, it would take that long. Anyway. I sincerely hope I get the thing this week.
 
Seems Like have2have are up to nonsense.

I purchased an item in March 2014, the 19th to be exact, till today, I have not received my parcel.
I had been informed about 3 weeks ago that the item was delayed and would reach the US office on the 23rd May, that date came and went with no update.

I can understand that sometime S|-| !t happens, but at least send me an email once a while to let me know whats going on.

I have sent over 50 emails with no response, I have raised about 10 tickets with no response.
What I am asking for is simple, just for these guys to tell me whats happening with an item I have paid for.
Even SAPO with all their BS delivers faster than this, and yes, they are unreliable, but at least they have a tel number you can call to find out whats happening, or at worst, be lied to.

I would not advise anyone to buy from them no matter how hard up you are for the item
 
Wish I saw all the threads about have2have on here before I ordered from there and not two days afterwards.

I ordered from them beginning of May and am yet to receive my order. I also mailed them at the beginning of June (again) to follow up on my order, but I have still not received anything.

Sent them (him) a mail now requesting a tracking number by Monday 09:00. If I don't have that by Monday, I will not be accepting the order anymore - no matter what.

I doubt however that I will ever get my money back from them. Hopefully bidorbuy can help me out with that, but I don't trust that guy to ever refund me a cent.
 
sorry dude, but bidorbuy suck big time, they out to make money, they screw both the buyers and sellers, about 0 chance of getting any help from bob.

you will probably get your order, delays happen, so many reasons.
