I ported my number to Cell C in December and took an iPhone contract. The hassles getting the phone was a total nightmare, and sadly my experience of quality with Cell C user experience has not been much better
Thankfully my iPhone is not a serious business tool for me, but considering what I pay for this contract I would expect a better time with Cell C and never had these issues with Vodacom.
My problems:
A few times I have picked up a message from someone who called me but I never received the call or even registered a miss called. The message seems to come through many hours after the call.
Other times I am told that someone called me, but nothing is picked up on my side. Maybe I have missed out completely but will never know.
Also had a few calls dropped mid call - I gather this is typical of Cell C
What is the problem here? Why am I not getting come calls (is this an iPhone 5S issue)? Delay in messages - this must be Cell C. And dropped calls?
Based on my unhappy month with Cell C, I would not recommend moving to them and not too sure how I am going to cope for the 23 months ahead.
Any suggestions or help would be greatly appreciated - maybe I have something wrong on my phone??
