I currently use the Note 3 since October 2013. I'm still very happy with it.

I can upgrade on the 1st of November buy the question is what to get?

I've played a bit with the Note4 and iPhone 6 Plus. Both phones looks awesome.

OS wise I don't think the iPhone is what I want and the few changes to the Note4 coming from a Note3 is not enough for me say I should get it.

I really need help on this one. Should I get something else instead? And if yes, what?

Android vs. iOS war, in 3...2...1

If you don't like iOS don't get a phone that runs it…

Dare to be different, get yourself a HTC One M8. I've always loved HTC and if I were to be called a fan of something, that would be it. Would go back to HTC in a heartbeat if they could offer me what the Note 4 has.

The One M8 looks like a nice phone. Might be a bit too small. But I'll try to find a live demo somewhere.

I like the G3 and Z3 as well.

You probably don't need a new device - it's a want :D and as you already know the N3 is as capable as any device on the market atm. Why not downgrade you contract to sim-only until something worthy comes along and spend the saving on something else that floats your boat to quench your tech-thirst, for now :D

I'm going for the 6 plus this round, had a few android devices and my last iOS device was a 3GS

+1. If HTC had a stylus I would jump at it without a doubt. I loved my HTC 6 years ago.
Why hasn't any other manufacturer put a stylus in their phones? Is it a patent thing?

So you don't want iOS and the Note 4 isn't enough of an upgrade? Then don't take a handset. Make it a data/airtime contract only and keep your handset. Save yourself some bucks.
