I can just hope that this makes the French people think long and hard about the fact that this tragedy is a picnic compared to what can and does usually happen to the shrines, churches, monasteries, medieval sites and libraries of the "infidel's religion" when Islam takes over.
No doubt there's something very sad and sinister about this accident given it's timing and what's been going on in Europe. Hell I can even forgive a religious person in France for thinking this is some kind of sign.

His post was very much like your first post. He brought up the other side of the despicable to the side you brought up.
You however went for Gold by not acknowledging the reports of what right wing nut jobs were doing in response to this and trying to squash it and then followed up with the good old overused meme about toxic masculinity.
Always interesting how there are right wing conspiracy theories and left wing truth speakers.... even though clearly some of those left leaning truthers are touting theories that sound down right conspiratorial sometimes...

The left versus right spectrum is based on a spectrum of ideologies. Am I not allowed to post stuff that I think is wrong and disagree with? What despicable behavior? Expressing some kind of happiness over this tragedy? Yeah, I don't agree with any rhetoric, left or right. I posted "toxic masculinity" to make fun of the prevailing cultural position on certain things. Seems you take an exception to that. You seem to be offended by it, which is weird. Maybe grow a thicker skin? If you think I am a right wing, then by all means, go ahead and think that. I don't have to justify my beliefs to you.

Horrible. Gosh. Only found out now about this when I saw a pic of it posted in the "interesting pics" thread in OT. Wonder if they will be able to restore it.

Of course they will. Just about everything was saved - stained glass, relics, etc. Not the first time it's burned down and won't be the last.Horrible. Gosh. Only found out now about this when I saw a pic of it posted in the "interesting pics" thread in OT. Wonder if they will be able to restore it.
