Notre Dame on fire

Paris prosecutors have launched an inquiry to determine the cause of last night's devastating fire.

Speaking at the Notre-Dame on Tuesday, Rémy Heitz confirmed the investigation was under way.

He said there was no suspicion of arson and stressed that “the working hypothesis is that it was accidental. Nothing indicates a deliberate act.” Mr Heitz said five investigators are working on the probe.

He said they will be interviewing workers from five companies that had been hired to work on renovations to the cathedral's roof, which was where the flames started.

Earlier officials said they suspected that the fire may have been started as a result of restoration work in progress on crumbling upper parts of the cathedral since last year.

Cabinet ministers are meeting today to start preparing a reconstruction plan. Rebuilding may take up to 10 years, according to experts.

Prosecutors shouldn't really be in the business of ruling out arson when the investigation is in its nascent stage...
 
Nothing indicates he rules it out.

He just says that there are no elements to suspect arson, if some elements pop up, they will consider arson.

It’s how french prosecutors have spoken to the media for decades if not more but I guess you’re going to teach them their job...

Right but I suppose if its 68 then its an issue, at 67 its all just accidents.

And 875 or 900 or 1000 vandalized is also just all accidental according to the bs media lack of proper reporting on it. Conveniently it ignores a clear trend that did not exist in previous years and the trend is increasing year after year.

It’s actually the numbers of the french church, not of the media.

Stop assuming the worst.

Please show me where you deduct a trend from.

Great. I think those who care are more interested in getting the culprits involved brought to justice and if there is any actual story behind this that it is being exposed before they move on and start rebuilding it and thus writing off pursuing justice.

For such a landmark I am certain there is hundreds of CCTV cameras to look through that would expose some interesting details about what really went down.

Do you follow logic or comprehend what I wrote ? I stated that the MEDIA do not report on this as they should yet you read what I wrote in the wrong way either on purpose or you tell me.

I am not assuming the worst but I am not blind to what is going on either. Europe is being desecrated but feel free to think everything is just dandy and it is all accidental issues.

In the same breath I suspect you also think everything is just fine in SA and all our issues are just accidental also.
 
Colour me surprised as more and more posts emerge that show how deeply they will ignore any facts that prove otherwise.

Third time that I say no electricity at all on the roof. So no CCTV if no electricity.

Please show me how the numbers increased, when, how you deduct a trend.

I don’t take the media’s number but the french church’s number.

But you’d rather assume what you want to see instead of checking the numbers first.

Holy Week 2019 Sunday, April 14, 2019 until Saturday, April 20, 2019

I meant it is a Christian holy week

Palm Sunday, which is on 14 April 2019 and celebrates Jesus Christ entering into Jerusalem. Holy Week, which commences from 14 April all the way to 20 April 2019 and is the week that leads to Easter Sunday. Maundy Thursday, which is on 18 April 2018 and recalls the Last Supper with the Twelve Apostles.

Shame bless the Frenchies they did try though with the Maginot but it was futile and see them devastated and in tears as France capitulated to Hitler was gut wrenching my heart goes out to them still. Have a soft spot I guess.
