For two hours during the attack, the police did not answer the phone. Co-incedence? Maybe.
 
I personally think that the police chief is talking in forked tongue . Like the Natzies who told the Jews that they are going to working camps and took them to concentration camps. People hear what they want to hear .
 
They say the cops did not answer the phone during the whole ordeal? I would demand to know just what the **** the cops were doing during that time and I'd take it up as high as I could go and to the press (oh wait, silly me. this is SA we're talking about here). This thing is said to have played out over 2+ hours. Hello?! Was some ******** fast asleep or what?!

I've had a emergency recently where a neighbour was being attacked by multiple intruders in his home. The guy was screaming for help and I could see one of the bastards was strangling him and had what appeared to be a gun pointed to the back of the victim's head while another bugger was wrapped around his legs in an effort to get him on the ground. At the time I wanted nothing more than to go over and assist in smashing some skulls but unfortunately I don't own a gun and have no intention on taking my fists to a gunfight unless it's family involved. I had no choice but to retreat and call the cops. I had absolutely zero joy with 10111 so I phoned my local cop shop direct while only God knows what was happening to the guy at that time. The first time the phone just rang and rang for ages and then simply went engaged. I swear I have rarely felt so angry and helpless in my life! They had a second number listed so I called that and eventually some uninterested SOB took the call. To the SAPS credit in this case, once they'd actually taken the call they were fairly quick and they sure did bring in the cavalry. I would lay the blame squarely on the police if them not answering the phone is truly the case.

Yeah 10111 is a useless number to know, you're better off phoning one of the security companies.

it does sound strange, but it feels like people have been trying for ages to make it as if farm invasions are happening here, and now a newsworthy story does come along and i can't help but be skeptical after all the carp posted in the past. it's like that proverb where you're told that you're going to meet the love of your life if you wear a green shirt, so you wear a green shirt everyday until the day it happens.
 
I fortunately have had an excellent service from the 10111 service a few times. Sad to hear about those that haven't had the same experience though...
 
You may not believe this; but i know the farmer that shot at the attackers. He is also on R&R from Afghanistan at the moment. No wonder the attackers fled. He is a bad news guy. I even have a photo with him and his AK 47.

Maybe just read the story again until it sinks in. What don't you believe...that it happened? That there was a dicey motive? What's to be skeptical about?

Semantics, home invasion seems to be replaced by intruders in this country, the sameway carjacking is replaced by hijacking.

No. He came from another farm to assist. This looks like an attempt at pre-meditated murder, there was no attempt to steal anything.

So, was it just coldblooded, or did the woman and children do something to incur their wrath ???

If so, what do you have to do that merits being burnt alive ???

The parents were shooting too. And nothing can justify the murder of women and children, luckily no one was seriously injured in this attack.

+10It's removal of property. If you die they might add it as a foot note that there might have been violence.

The last one we heard of was the girl who's hands were chopped off. Last week A friend of BF's mother was beaten and raped by 4 men in her home. IT was men contracted by a company that were re- thatching her roof.

I could go on but what is the use?? She should mos be lucky they did not kill her. And if you make a noise and try to protest you are a racist.

What about the woman that was raped by a gang of 15. They also killed the husband by beating him to death. The scene was so gruesome that even hardened police officers had to get trauma counseling. Nothing was stolen there either.

What about those sick bastards who rape babies? There is a lot of crime in this country that just doesn't make sense no matter how you look at it.
