NSA finds no complaint e-mails from Snowden

Of course they wouldn't find his e-mails about that subject.
They probably removed them or deliberately mistyped the search terms.

What government and government organization can one trust nowadays?
 
NSA finds no complaint e-mails from Snowden

Edward Snowden says he repeatedly raised constitutional concerns about the NSA internally, but an NSA search in his gmail account turned up only a single e-mail.:whistling:

Whatever the reality of this situation, there's no reason in the world to think that the NSA would be honest about this issue, if it in any way supports Snowden.

As an organisation, they have lied in the past, continue to lie, and will do so in the future, which is secure for the indeterminate.

Snowden, on the other hand, strikes me as conscientious and principled (despite the usual smear tactics) and has essentially uprooted and destroyed any semblance of a normal life as a result of what he did.

Yeah and the Zuma spy tapes actually exist .. :erm:
 
why doesn't Ed give us those emails ? Or did he run out of space on his memory stick and decide to leave off the evidence that could exonerate him ?

ok. not exonerate him entirely, but provide evidence that he did try to raise the dodgy dealings with his superiors, which would go some way in his defence.

Maybe he his waiting for another sucker punch. Drop a hint that he sent a number of emails, knowing that the NSA will deny this, then, BAM, provide the emails after they deny their existence, exposing them once again as crooked. The NSA are stupid enough to fall into this kind of trap. I mean, they had no idea that he attended conferences and was looking to out them.

He gains nothing at all unveiling those mails at this stage (should he have them).
