How does this differ from a juicer?
A juicer extracts the juice from the fiber. The nutribullet blends the whole lot together.

Never really noticed that. I use almond milk so maybe it reacts differently to dairy? Dunno. Sounds like you're enjoying the new toy.
I'm loving. I'm pretty sure if I accidentally run over a hobo I can just stuff him in here and it would eviscerate the evidence too.
In what way? I'd imagine the outcome between Fox1's R199 special and a "high-speed blender" would be similar. Hell the checkers special has a more powerful motor than the nutribullet thing so I'm not even convinced its less "high-speed".Once you use a nutribullet or a high-speed blender (like a Vitamix or the cheaper alternatives) you'll never want to use a regular blender again. There's no comparison.
The blender I have is an omniblend (local company) which has a 3HP motor and a 4-way blade configuration. It can turn almonds into almond butter. The blade turns so fast it heats up liquid in a few minutes. It'll blend pretty much anything, so fruit and veg gets blended very smooth. In what way? Whether the checkers special will last beyond a week...well thats a different question. :erm:
Anybody have this one?

Wrong thread... That's a centrifugal juicer, and not a nutribullet or other type of blender.
Do you want juice with all the fibre & solid stuff removed or do you want all that stuff left in?Let's say I want to make Apple and ginger juice by just dropping an apple and ginger into something. What would that something be?

The nutribullet seems like it might do what you need. However, I've never used one and really enjoy the omniblend blenders: http://omniblend.co.za/?gclid=CJKsqOnT4cYCFRDKtAodzPQMRw. I suppose it might be overkill for just making juice, but when you start blending pretty much anything in there like nuts for nut butter it's pretty cool. It's basically a cheaper version of the Vitamix blender (damn cool blender but dat price...). I use my omniblend daily and it's lasted very well. Had a 2/3 year guarantee on the motor and blade assembly. But yeah - not sure how much you're gonna use it. Works great for juice thoughIt can remain but i don't want it to be thick and pulpy the way it would in a regular blender.
Quick question. Can I make a brocoli and cauliflour( Both uncooked) drink with the nutribullet?
You can make it for sure.
Is it something you'd want to drink from a taste perspective? That's a whole 'nother story...
Just worried that the ingredients would be too hard if raw
Blend it with something creamy like an avo - any remaining chunks will be less obvious.Just worried that the ingredients would be too hard if raw
