Nvidia GeForce NOW SA launch

They buggered up the website last time as well with a revamp. Doubt they would kill such a in demand service, should be a decent cash cow for them, setup and forget.

that would be so cool.
fingers crossed

edit: but i have doubts due to how Rain operated the service

They spend millions of us dollars on the cluster. If you are in that deep you can't simply walk away and take the loss so I have my doubts that it's getting discontinued. Either a website issue or someone else taking over.

Yea ive seen that amount and its mental.
I wasn't thinking a full throwaway as such, just something similar to another alliance partner that left the service in the past and Rain is all full steam ahead with the whole AI stuff, would just use the cluster for part GDN and whatever AI workloads they deem fit.

also wow, holy vibe coded dashboard.

forgot how nice it was to not wait for a game to finish downloading but damn, holy cpu bottleneck (excuse the flashbang)

It would make no business sense.

  1. There is huge demand for the service
  2. Tech wise its just a hardware hosting
  3. Then a simple auth gateway for the alliance partner to handle
  4. Partner handles billing and local tax concerns.
I can understand fears of expanding the service due to saturation, especially with both Amazon, Google and MS increasing their local datacenters footprints ( Amazon has Luna and MS has Cloud gaming, I think Googles might be closed ). They likely need to recoup the hardware investment, consider ROI for profit vs expansion or there is a threshold to trigger the expansion/risk point.
