Nvidia GeForce NOW SA launch

I can sort of see why they barely marketed the thing.

They had 1 facebook post about the beta last year and it went the same as all their other posts, just filled with people complaining about their mobile service or clowning on rain themselves. Out of the 400+ comments on that post, i think there were a few people who were actually talking about GFN.

I think the best way they can market this is through publications like mybroadband, NAG etc otherwise it's just gonna be a fight against "Rain is kak" comments

See? These guys are facing an uphill battle lmao but at least the service has gotten traction with all the signups coming through

Just remember, we're lucky down here to have such short "queues".Europe servers have like 300 people queues
Yes 9 in queue is nothing compared to the times I tried to play GFN over a VPN on free tier and there was like 96 in the queue in front of you. Used to go get some meat and wors, put it on the braai, have a few beers, by the time food was ready and I opened the last Castle in the six pack...then only would I be on ....there are 9 users in front of you in the queue

Beta testers who already paid for December, do you know if in Jan we'll be automatically converted to the full rate or we'll need a new signup?
No conversion, they say it's supposed to have been cancelled so there is a glitch.

I didn't manage to grab an Ultimate slot (site kept hanging / crashing), but I still have Priority - wonder how hard it will be to upgrade now that Ultimate is sold out?

Project idea: Repurpose my Raspberry Pi 3 to run GFN in browser.

I'd say the same about SA tho. Tech stuff in general are massively marked up in SA
Only difference is the size of the population here who will spend money buying games and then spend more money on GFN to play them compared to just getting an Xbox or ps5
