Nvidia GeForce NOW SA launch

I'm having such massive issues with GFN. I'll be playing, everything will be cool and suddenly there will be a massive amount of packet loss. There is nothing wrong with my ISP (Afrihost) as I play competitive games on console with no problems. Anyone else having similar issues?

I play on Afrihost and I don't see any issues. What area are you and is the packetloss burst from the stream or in game?

Yeah I have noticed on the after game report cloud rigs are at 71/100 ~ 89/100 for performance and my network is around 99/100. Dunno whats going on.

Also, anyone know how to get the best routes for the servers? I have tried using exit lag but ehh, packet bursts even if it does reduce my ping

It's a burst in game. I only have this issue with Geforce, nothing else. It's happened before with other games.

Here we go again...Back in July i paid R320 just to be able to play for 2 weeks. Now again this month, i pay and cant sign into Geforce Now. At this point il just buy a card.

It's nice that the the 3060 sesssions now support a 1440p stream on Ultra but I would rather choose to wait in a queue for a proper gpu, just like how Australia's alliance partner does it.

Give us choice man! @rain_mobile

Rain is absolutely useless. GFN should be rather run by Afrihost. I have been having issues with playing FrostPunk since it's launch. They've been in contact and they keep saying they've escalated it and will get back to me ASAP but they never do. Their servers constantly have packet loss, ping spikes etc; they literally have no idea what they're doing and constantly just sign up more people at the determent of the GFN experience.

Such a disappointment.

Might be a problem with your ISP, I've had nothing but smooth gameplay on Rain's Geforce Now

I really wish it was but I also game on xbox and I haven't had issues. I work online and I'm in meetings all day and there isn't an issue with my connection. I really wish it was that though.

Your ISP may have an issue specifically to Rain's Geforce Now, XBOX and anything else won't be affected if the only issue is Rain's Geforce now

ISP's are definatly a issue. Busy yelling at Vox again as thier backhaul links from Dbn to Jhb flake out often when loaded or in redundant and at that time my Geforce Now goes for a ball. If I activate Cloudflare Warp on the machine, that uses Cloudflares routing, not just DNS, the issue either goes away or becomes extremely less.

I mean look at this, check the packet loss.

The other issue (and the one I’m annoyed about the most) is the fact that I can’t play FrostPunk; it doesn’t launch at all. I’ve sent through screen recordings showing this issue but nothing seems to get done.

These are some of the issues I'm experiencing as per my post previously.

I set up a Sunshine on a remote server and installed Moonlight on my client.

Works a charm.

I did not port-forward but rather VPN into the remote site.

Only a 3060 card in a normal PC and it was mostly to see if it could work.

Wonder if this could be scaled using Sunshine.

How does it compare to Steam's Remote Play/Link? Sunshine is good, and has low latencies, but Remote Play has improved a lot. I only use Remote Play on an internal network so latencies and quality are as good as my own network.

The only reason I tried Sunshine is because Steam's remote play did not work for me.
