Yeah that's expected.
The PR reasoning for this is that Nvidia needs to deploy the update on their side.

Use the in-client feedback module to let Nvidia (and Rain) know that the game requires a patch.

The game has been patched (patching notification is no longer up). Messaged rain and sent feedback.

Just because the patching state is gone, it doesn't mean that the game is fully updated/patched nor does it mean that the image with that game is "online".

E.g games that require a patch but still allow you launch the session will throw a

error when you actually try updating them in that session.

Also there have been numerous patches for that game in the past week, including 1 that came out today so it'll take them some time to get to "patching" it.

It doesn't as alliance partners set their own terms (for the most part).

for example, partners such as starhub and abya have been doing this since their inception instead of going with Nvidia's normal unlimited time plans.
 
seems like they've fully rolled out the change to stop displaying gpu names for priority tiers and below, 3080s/4080s aren't affected.
doesn't really have much effect here as we only have one gpu but it's interesting.

Strange on my time is weird but everytime now 5 users in front.

@BlackStatic look it is not perfect. You get your ups and downs with it. But I would not say it is a Rain issue per say. I think they scaling out or doing maintenance and a few rigs therefor not available.
 
Queues of 15 min now for me as well. Sometimes the 4000 series cards are unavailable too...sad.

Let us know if you manage to get a slot or if they're just asking you to DM so that they can tell you to continue to wait, as others here have reported.
