NWest Farmer shot dead

Anyone who thinks that hate speech by people in a powerful position "are just words" needs to go buy a history book.
Honestly, that educated people (and I assume by default people with a computer and the ability to mostly type a coherent sentence on a forum qualify here) can believe that hate speech by prominent political leaders representing a majority are nothing to worry about, is something I find staggering.
There is no excuse to be ignorant of history.

Rubbish. Malema is not spouting his BS to get a rise out of us, he's doing it to further his political ambitions. Whether you ignore him or not, he will still incite the people because it is not about you it's about winning the vote from the masses. If that means creating tension between races all the better for him as far as he is concerned.

If you are walking in the bush and come across a lion are you going to close your eyes and pray it will go away? You can try, but you won't be praying for much longer, or anything else for that matter. Malema couldn't give a flying F if we are upset about his ramblings or not, he has the backing of the ruling party and his followers. Ignoring him is just what he wants us to do, it'll make his life easier. And words can be very powerful, ever think why Hitler could get an entire nation to follow him? Because he could use his words to incite and inflame.
 
Reading some of the denialism on this site makes me understand why it is we need places like yadvashem.
Truly shocking, how quick the human race forgets, and how quick they are to stick their heads in the sand.
 
Those that are calling for people to ignore Malema are like the proverbial ostrich that buried it's head in the sand. They are going to end up stuffed.

OK then.

How does one Stop Malema? Only one viable option, it is to kill the bastatrd, but on the other hand, for generations to come he will be celebrated by history as a Hero.

No-one knows the whole story.. the perps are gone and the witnesses are dead. The media only report what they want you to hear. What if the media said "The farmer who constantly beat up his workers with objects and never paid them a full days wage - was shot dead by an ex-employee". Did he employ Zimbabweans/Moz people? If an illegal immigrant works on your farm for a month on false promises, can the worker go to the police and lodge a theft charge? NO, the police will beat him up too! - so he is left to sort out his own issues.. Will that change your view on the circumstances ?

I by NO-MEANS say that any killing is justifiable, but the black-helicopter theories I read are so astounding. The media are just the same as the Govt! .. they publish what they want you to believe. Farm killings are a problem... not White farmers are being killed... its ALL farmers.

Can you give me a list of 1600+ black farmers killed? If not then stop believing the lies Malema and the ANC tells you. The story that most incidents are orchestrated by the ex/current employees are BS spread by the ANC Government. Very few of the actual cases involved employees and then in most of those cases the employees was merrily cohorts with "others" in the case. Since when do farmers employ workers with shotguns???????? Yes some of the black employees was also killed in some cases, that was because they supported the farmer. In very few cases was a Black farmer killed, maybe robbed. But the savagery and violent murders are predominantly lodged at white farmers owning the land. That is because the ANC supports the racist chants calling for killing WHITE farmers. Even today Malema repeated the same calls and verbally attacked journalists for unmasking him.

SA has not not been at war in form or another for over 300 years. We remain at war, just a continuation of a very long conflict, that's all it is.

If you follow the news closely you'll know these farm murders (complete with torture, executions, total lack of other motive e.g. nothing taken) have been going on for years --- people are only focusing on them now again because of Malema's comments. You can try label these things "crime" but it doesn't change the fact that this is war ... if it walks like a duck, talks like a duck etc., calling it something else is just propaganda to prevent people realising how bad the situation is and thus actually doing something about it.

I am not alleging the campaign is against white farmers.. you are :D If you believe its white farmers only, you should atleast have a count of how many black farmers there are currently out there as a single sided statistic is as useful as a chocolate tea-pot. Farm killings have been going on WAY before Malema came in to the picture...

I am not disputing its BAD, but I feel its FARM KILLINGS, and not just 'White'

Again, give me the statistics, I plead YOU. The list I speak about are 1600+ white farmers killed. Now you gave the counter argument, so prove to me what percentage above that figure are black farmers that was also killed. That would then mean the total farm killings must be in the region of 5000-10000 which are plain BS.

He may not be a lion, a hyena maybe, but he is dangerous nonetheless. Ignoring a toothache isn't going to make it go away. This idiot is calling for the deaths of farmers (but you can bet your socks, he means whitey) and the twits that follow him are loving it. And they can't wait to cary their heroes instructions out.

After a quick Google I came across this:

A very comprehensive report about farm attacks was released by the South African Police Service in July 2003. The entire report can be found here: ISS. One of the findings was that there were 1398 farm attacks in 2001. 61.6% of the victims were white, 33.3% black, 4.4% colored and 0.7% Indian. However, the chance that a white farmer will be injured/murdered during a farm attack is considerably higher than any other race group.

The political parties, the DA and FF+ reaction to the report can be found here: News24. The trade union, Solidarity also released a report on farm attacks which can be read here: SolidaritySA.

In 2002, Colonel Schoeman (who studied farm attacks for years at that point of time), senior staff officer of the chief of joint operations, said that black farmers are 80% more likely to be attacked and that the number of black victims are increasing.
